Yates School of Motoring

Ian has been offering a professional and friendly service in the Wishaw area for over 30 years. During this time he has taught pupils of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to pass their driving test and become safe, confident drivers.

Due to recommendations throughout the years he is now teaching sons, daughters, nieces and nephews from past pupils. This has resulted in Yates School of Motoring becoming a name the people of Wishaw associate with quality and trust.

Learning to drive is a serious business, your life and the lives of others could be affected by your actions behind the wheel. Getting the right professional driving instruction will not only enhance your chances of test success, it will also prepare you for a lifetime of safe driving.

COVID 19 - PROCEDURES 

While there are no formal restrictions we would appreciate it if you could continue to follow good hygiene procedures.

IF YOU ARE UNWELL please cancel your lesson in good time.

BEFORE YOUR LESSON YOU SHOULD wash your hands thoroughly for 20 seconds.

DURING YOUR LESSON AND ON YOUR DRIVING TEST YOU SHOULD:

• apply hand gel - we will provide hand gel but you can use your own if you wish.
• if you wish to wear a face covering it is your responsibility to bring one 

We will continue to follow advice from the DVSA and the Scottish Government.
